Mahatma Gandhi Arts, Science, and Late N. P. Commerce College, Armori, Successfully Organised a One-Day National e-Seminar

Mahatma Gandhi Arts, Science, and Late N. P. Commerce College, Armori, is pleased to announce the successful organisation of a one-day national e-seminar titledNew Areas of Research in English Language and Literatureheld on September 30, 2025.

The e-Seminar was conducted virtually and saw enthusiastic participation from over 100 scholars, faculty members, and students from various institutions across India. The event featured keynote addresses from Prof. Dr Akshay Dhote, Chairman, Board of Studies, English, Gondwana University, Gadchiroli, and Prof. Dr Vivek Joshi, Head, Department of English, Gondwana University, Gadchiroli, who shared insight into emerging interdisciplinary research themes in English language and literature.

The seminar facilitated lively discussions on contemporary trends such as digital humanities, ecocriticism, translation studies, and pandemic literature, fostering scholarly exchange and collaborative research opportunities.

This successful initiative is a testament to the dedicated efforts of the Department of English, Principal Dr L. H. Khalsa, Convener Dr Nomesh Meshram, and the organising secretaries Dr Vaibhav P. Padole, Prof. Anil Raut, and Prof. Sneha Mohurle. E-certificates were distributed to all participants to acknowledge their engagement.
